For the second week in a row, the Gonzaga Bulldogs (17-1, 5-0 WCC) have dropped another spot in the AP Poll. The Zags stand at No. 9 now and have 1,050 total points from the voters. Entering last weekend, six Division I college basketball teams stood as undefeated. That number shrank to five after Michigan suffered an upset home loss to Wisconsin as a 19.5-point favorite. That result caused some shakeup in the second AP Top 25 college basketball poll of 2026, with Iowa State moving to No. 2 as a result.

UConn was the unanimous No. 1 choice for the first time this season, receiving all 32 first-place votes. The Huskies continue to cruise through Big East play, winning by an average of nearly 47 points per game. They were the only team in the top 10 to stay in the same place as the week before.

The Iowa State Cyclones were able to keep their undefeated record intact for another week, beating the Baylor Bears on the road and the Oklahoma State Cyclones

Arizona tightened its hold on the top spot in The Top 25 men’s college basketball poll on Monday while Vanderbilt’s unbeaten season has landed the Commodores in the top 10.

Four new teams entered the Top 25 after a shakeup at the bottom of the poll, including Utah State and Seton Hall.

With the new AP Poll set to be released, Duke is expected to move up in the rankings after its strong week. ON3’s James Fletcher released his projected poll and slotted the Blue Devils at No. 5, moving them up one spot.
