Former Air Force pilot Gerald Eddie Brown Jr. has been arrested for allegedly teaching Chinese military pilots without authorization which violates federal export laws.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the man allegedly provided combat aircraft training to the Chinese Air Force.
The former officer traveled to China to train pilots of the People’s Liberation Army Air Force without approval from the State Department, the Justice Department said.
