Crown rot can be deadly to an orchid! These two rescue orchids are doing so well so far! When I water my orchids I still do a full drowning of the orchid bark but I try to avoid the leaves as much as possible. Water to the crowns can create fungal issues and rot those crevices. A good trick to know that your orchid needs water is when the roots turn are silver. Silver = water, green = still good!
