Grief extends beyond the physical and mental. During the process of separation/divorce one may exhibit signs of grief and it’s important to understand them so you don’t go too far. Feelings are normal and we may be excused for them but our reactions are in our control and we may not be excused for them whether in this life or the next. | Shadeed Muhammad/Rawdah Admin

“The reward for evil is an evil similar to it.” (Al Qur’an 42:40) Betrayal the ultimate human violation because it involves exploiting someone’s vulnerability. Someone let their guard down in front of you, whether with intimate information they shared, access to a version of themselves they worked hard to create, or a love they thought they were saving for the right person, and you exploited it for your own selfish reasons. If your knowledge of the religion doesn’t evoke a change in your character then what you have is not knowledge, it’s information. Information can be useful or useless depending on how you respond to it. The Prophet asked Allah for knowledge that benefits (علم نافع) and sought refuge from knowledge that did not (علم لا ينفع). | Shadeed Muhammad/Rawdah Admin

Let me explain: 1. A king who lies: someone in a position of authority doesn’t have to lie. So to lie, even when you don’t have to is seen as the ultimate paradox of honor. 2. A shaykh (older gentleman) who fornicates: someone who has reached a stage of life where self-control and discipline of carnal desires should come natural considering that a man’s libido and testosterone levels begins to drop as he matures. So to fornicate despite natural forces working against your desires shows an overal

Don’t count your brothers and sisters in deen out!!! How do you rejoice at the struggles of your brothers and sisters. Islam is like wealth, it doesn’t change you, it simply brings to the surface who you really are behind the mask. And you can either dislike who you are and use the tools Islam gives us to change or you can ignore the man/woman in the mirror and use what Islam gives us to justify and further validate who you are. The Prophet said, “The best of you in Jahiliyah (pre-Islam), will b

As a society sliding down the slippery slope of nihilism, Islam is the only universal solution. Muslims have to uphold and exemplify the traditions of Islamic morals and values in order to provide people with an option to a failing system that has all but plunged mankind into the depths of of despair. Look around you, people are like walking zombies with no real purpose in life. Absorbing and consuming the energy of one another in the form of manipulation, crime, lies and other predatory behavio

Just because you made it to the other end of your misfortune doesn’t mean you were successful. Some people, during the course of a calamity or misfortune complain, fret and try to circumvent the decree of Allah by tapping into every resource they have only to let a grand opportunity pass them by. Patience will either choose you or you will be wise enough to choose it, at the onset of your misfortune. The not so wise individual exercises patience long after the time when patience was virtuous and

There’s a huge difference between equality and equity. Equality is when everyone gets the same thing, and equity is when everyone gets what they require. An example of these two is equality is giving everyone the same pair of shoes while equity is giving everyone a pair of shoes that actually fits them. Sometimes you may think that you are doing the right thing, but you are wrong as two left feet!!! | Shadeed Muhammad/Rawdah Admin

“You are too lazy to do what it takes to get married” i.e., level up financially, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. You are too comfortable being single. Being single is how you start off, as a man, not your destination!! If being single is your final destination in life, I believe you missed the whole point of being a man. Nothing builds a sense of responsibility, self-accountability, self-awareness, humility and compassion in a man like the institution of marriage. It is where we learn th

You cannot heal someone who has been operating their entire lives through the lens of their trauma. There is no such thing as loving someone to healthiness!!! It is delusional to believe that is you love someone harder and with more vigor they will somehow snap out of it and “act right”. They have to want to heal and change. In the words of the young man, “You can’t wake someone up who pretends to be sleep.” Masha Allah, Sister @every1_favorite_therapist has her sons on a great trajectory of sel

Comparison is the theif of all joy. You will never be able to enjoy the blessings that you have when you are constantly comparing them to the blessings of others. Prophet Muhammad sought refuge in Allah (God) from a heart that is never satisfied underscording the fact that discontentment is a disease we should all be more conscious of. There is someone right now praying for the blessing that you already have! | Shadeed Muhammad/Rawdah Admin
